Trailer Lights

Hooking up to your trailer appropriately is valuable in longevity of the truck and trailer lights.

The biggest thing to remember when you are hooking up to your trailer is to make sure your lights on the truck are off. This will prevent you from blowing the trailer light fuse.

It is also a good idea to carry a test light with you while you are on the road in case you were to need to test to see which fuse is bad.

In our Peterbilt‘s the light fuses are typically found in the fuse box under the hood.

Every single time you hook up to a new trailer you should be testing your lights.
